Owners Rich Johnston and Donna Nelson purchased the market in 1988. Both had worked extensively in the grocery industry, which gave them the experience and drive to open a neighborhood grocery store unlike any other.

We are committed to making environmentally responsible choices whenever possible.  We use compostable sandwich and deli containers, sort our in-store garbage for recyclables and participate in the Portland Composts! program.
